LA NUIT DES IMAGES – MUSEE DE L'ELYSEE

Recognised on the international scene, the Musée de l'Elysée is one of the most important museums dedicated entirely to photography. La Nuit des Images is held in the magnificent gardens of the Elysée in June of every year, the event explores the projected image. In a slightly different Multimedia-Installation I lead the viewers into the transitoriness of being, the wonders of death and its remains. My installation A Sense of Wonder elicits an uneasy pleasure that merges wonder and terror, incredulity or even revulsion, but above everything else a sense of wonder about the beauty of withered and faded things.
